Alicia Keys is a strong and powerful role model for many youth, her music provides many young people with a sense of hope, empowerment and inspires them to create change. Her latest song “Girl on fire” is a great example of her ongoing investment is creating Agents of change, empowering young girls that the strength comes with in a person.
She believes that every person has the right to health care and deserves a future. She is dedicated to providing life-saving HIV/ AIDS treatment and care, nutritious food, and loving support to children and families living with and affected by HIV/ AIDS in Africa and India. Alicia Keys is a Global Ambassador, for Keep a Child Alive, she uses her voice to raise awareness, mobilize people to take action, and rally resources in the global response to HIV/ AIDS.
During the spring of 2006 Alicia Keys embarked on a journey to Africa that changed her life forever. From this trip she was able to create a documentary that has touched the hearts of millions of people, this documentary is a visual reminder of how change happens and the impact it has on the community that you do it in. “Alicia in Africa: Journey to the Motherland” is a must see.
